Word of the Week 1 Minute

I learnt this word yesterday, so I’m just revving to use it, despite its quite ugly sounding and appearance; word of the week is ASSIDUOUS.

ASS-ID-U-OUS, adjective: hard-working, unceasing, industrious.

Etymology: from the Latin adjective meaning the same,  assiduus.
