Hullo! I’m back at my Oxford house, and, apart from Christmas, am relatively free of distractions, so I can get back to editing/writing/whatever it is I do nowadays (goodness knows!). Let us start of a (hopefully more organised) week with the obligatory photo time. *grin*
This photo was a lot harder to take than the visuals seem: I was on a train. Standing. Or, rather, crouching to take a photo. Anyway, I thought – since I’d just been given her – I might as well snap a photo of my crochet Christmas present from Chris (try saying that with a mouthful of turkey!): GG the Giraffe, the mascot/critter of the band Steam Powered Giraffe. She is settling nicely with my other crochet gift, Gormley the dapper red squirrel.
Yup, they’re up to mischief already… (Gormley was once a human, so he shares his parents’ love of sloe gin).
